Does Notes AI join my meeting as a bot?

No. Notes AI runs as a browser extension and reads the meeting platform's own live captions — there's no separate bot in the participant list, and no recording software joining the call alongside you.

Which platforms are supported?

Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, directly in Chrome.

I started a recording, but nothing is being transcribed.

Notes AI reads the meeting platform's own captions, so live captions need to be turned on in Google Meet or Microsoft Teams itself first. If captions are on and it's still not picking anything up, reload the meeting tab and try again.

How do I stop getting the "transcript is ready" email?

Go to your Account settings, under Email preferences, and turn off "Transcript email notification." The weekly digest has its own separate toggle right above it.

How do I delete a meeting or my whole account?

Both are available any time from Account → Data & privacy — delete a single meeting, or your entire account and all its data.
