Terms of Use

Notes AI is operated by Meetsy ("Meetsy," "we," "us"). These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Notes AI Chrome extension and web dashboard (together, the "Service"). By installing the extension or using the dashboard, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service does

Notes AI is a Chrome extension that reads the live captions shown by Google Meet or Microsoft Teams during a call you're already in, and turns them into a transcript, summary, to-do list, and searchable meeting history. It does not join your calls as a participant, and it does not record audio or video.

The extension works without an account, storing meetings locally in your browser. Creating an account adds optional cloud sync and AI features (summaries, to-dos, Ask AI) powered by third-party AI providers — see our Privacy Policy for details.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement.

3. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to capture a meeting without the legal right to do so under the laws that apply to your call (many jurisdictions require the other participants' consent to being recorded or transcribed) — that responsibility is yours, not ours.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the extension beyond what applicable law permits.
• Use the Service to build a competing product by systematically extracting our AI prompts, models, or infrastructure.
• Interfere with the Service's normal operation or attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours.

5. Your content

You own the transcripts, summaries, and notes the Service creates from your meetings. We only process your content to provide the Service to you — see the Privacy Policy for exactly which third parties are involved and why.

6. The Service is provided "as is"

Notes AI is under active development and offered free of charge during this early-access period. AI-generated summaries and answers can be incomplete or wrong — always verify anything important against the original transcript. We provide the Service without warranties of any kind, and to the extent permitted by law, Meetsy isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it.

7. Changes and termination

We may update or discontinue features of the Service, and may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these Terms. You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from account settings.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do; continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the update.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
